"I Hope They Call Me On Mission"

 

This sweet boy just submitted his mission papers just a few hours ago online. It is an exciting time and we are so happy for Kade and the great young man he is. He was so thrilled when the age requirement changed for young men to serve a mission at 18. (young women can serve at 19 now) This was an answer to prayer for him. He had said several times how he wish he could serve a mission now and then just a few days before President Monson made the announcement Kade said the same thing again to Todd. It was an awesome experience to be listening live to the prophet when the announcement was made. Todd and I just looked at each other and started crying. Kade put his availability date for December 14, 2012 after finals. He won't go back a second semester to BYU.  He flew home last weekend for his physical and everything else was easy. He already has a passport and all his shots. We are so excited for him and can't wait to see where the Lord will send him. He will be an awesome missionary!! We love you Kade.
